 Educational Requirements

  • MD / FCPS in Aneasthesia .DA also Preferable .

 Experience Requirements

  • 0-1 year

 Job Responsibilities

  • Performs pre-anesthetic check-up of all adult and pediatric cardiac cases, thoracic and vascular cases under the guidance of consultant.
  • Shall be responsible for administration of Anesthesia, moderate and deep sedation for patient in cath lab and CTICU
  • Shall be responsible to perform perianesthetic monitoring: non invasive and invasive (intraarterial, central venous, pulmonary artery, mixed venous saturation,cardiac output)under the supervision and guidance of consultants
  • Difficult airway management in Emergency and critical care area including fiber optic technique
  • Shall be responsible for postanesthetic critical care of adult cardiothoracic surgical patients
  • Shall be responsible for perioperative ventilator management: intraoperative anesthetic,and critical care unit ventilators and techniques under the guidance of consultant .
  • Shall be responsible for pain management of adult & pediatric cardiothoracic surgical patients under the guidance of consultant
  • Part of Code Yellow(poly truma) team and Disaster Management team

 Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Critical care –post operative management of patients admitted in the cardiothoracic ICU and step-down .
  • Night duty comprising of as per rota given from time to time
  • Follow hospital practices and demonstrate initiative aligned to ensuring the safest possible environment for patients and staff.
  • To attend all clinical meetings, CME and work shops and actively participate in paper presentations.
  • .To be an active member for the quality initiatives of the department.
  • He/She should be part of the quality improvement of JCI documentation process of the hospital
