 Educational Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor in business discipline preferably 1/2 years of experience in relevant field.

 Experience Requirements

  • Preferably 1/2 years of experience in relevant field
  • Professional level knowledge on Supply Chain management work.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Key duties include co-ordinating the purchasing process from sourcing to selection to negotiations to awarding contracts for Importation.
  • Negotiations with vendors and service providers.
  • Develop Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Invitation to Tender.
  • Assist in all types of Import through LC and TT (Sourcing to GRN): Medical, Non-medical, Reagent, Billable, Consumable.
  • CS preparation with collected quotation.
  • Sourcing, managing, developing and evaluating of vendors.
  • Managing current vendors and developing new ones.
  • Balance cost and quality requirements.
  • Analyze operating expenses and undertake steps to minimize them.
  • Drafting and managing supply and service contracts.
  • Ensure Internal and External control and Govt. compliance.
  • Ensure transparency and fair competition at purchasing process.
  • Assist senior Executive – SC (Import) for regular ordering, follow up, Invoice processing.

 Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Import Export formalities, Bangladesh Bank, CCI&E, Insurance etc. permissions, Customs clearance and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for importing, storing and using of materials.
  • Assist to obtain Any regulatory benefit /government permission, (CUSTOMS, DGDA, BAERA, CCI & E, DC office, BSTI ) NOC’s / Inspection process, follow-up, Monitoring & Execution.

Technical Competencies

  • Individual performer as well as team player with the understanding of organizations culture and ethics.
  • Advanced level PC skills particularly in Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Internet browsing, MS outlook is essential) with excellent typing skill.
  • Excellent command in both English and Bengali report writing.
